Innovative power supplies for medical applications
SCHIEDERWERK will showcase modular power supplies at the leading international trade fair for the medical supply sector in Düsseldorf from November 13 to 16 in Hall 8B at Booth N30.
At this year’s COMPAMED, SCHIEDERWERK will showcase innovative complete solutions for the power supply and control of medical devices – from imaging systems to operating tables. Often, the power supply of the developer and manufacturer of power electronics is the only system supply of mobile medical devices or stationary systems, which include sensors and actuators as well as peripheral devices such as monitors, printers and workstations.
Power for medical applications up to 2 kW
With a power range of up to 2 kW per device, SCHIEDERWERK’s configurable switched-mode power supplies cover all application and technical fields in medical industry. Standard functions such as the power correction factor, safe isolation from the electrical circuit and typical low-voltage outputs (5 VDC, 12 VDC, 24 VDC and 48 VDC) are fully pre-developed and derive directly from an EN60601-approved modular system. This reduces development times and minimizes costs as well risks.
In addition, the special architecture of SCHIEDERWERK’s power supply solutions offers maximum flexibility in terms of form factor, connections, geometry and the device bus used. This simplifies the integration into existing housings considerably.
