Configurable output channels
If several different or separate output voltages are needed in an application, integrating all voltage converters into a single device is the more cost-effective alternative.
Reinforced isolation
To isolate the outputs from the mains and earth potential, we offer isolation systems with UL and IEC approval that meet the safety requirements for medical technology.
Medical approval
The requirements regarding EMC, mains behavior (hold time), leakage currents and isolation for certification to IEC/UL 60601 are met.
Wide-range input
A particularly high efficiency of the front end (PFC) enables the power supplies to be used worldwide without performance restrictions (derating) and meets all country-specific requirements regarding grid compatibility, THD, and EMC.
Cost efficiency
We achieve your cost targets by implementing only the circuit functions you really need, integrating all functions (multiple outputs, power management) without overhead, and consistently optimizing the components. For appropriate quantities, we offer solutions whose costs are lower than the standard.
Various communication interface options
On request, we integrate a communication interface to facilitate integration into the power management of the application (examples: CAN, PMBus, SMBus, RS485).
We achieve a cost advantage for applications with our power supplies by integrating the supply channels for different loads into one supply unit. We achieve further cost benefits by consistently reducing development costs (NRE) when pre-developed solutions from our modular system for power supplies up to 3,500 W are used. The modular system for power supplies is characterized by:
- Shortening development time and reducing one-off costs by using pre-developed virtual circuit modules.
- Output power of up to 3,500 W for multiple output channels in the voltage range up to 48 V and up to 40 A per channel.
- Wide-range input for worldwide use (PFC) with high mains compatibility, very good EMC and all necessary protection functions.
- Safe seperation and low leakage currents according to the medical standard IEC/UL 60601.
- Output module for charging battery storage systems.
- Software and communication solutions (PMbus, CAN) for power management in the end application.
- Open architecture for extension with customer-specific functions such as motor drivers, charge management, current sources, bidirectional outputs, pulse sources.
- Free design of the geometry (form factor), low installation height (1U), passive or contact cooling on request and free choice of connections (connectors) for easy integration of the power supply into the customer application.
